We have great news. We are now offering individual dental with its own on-line enrollment system for you and your clients. The plan, iis underwritten by Delta Dental and it is available to individuals, sole proprietors and small groups. In order to begin offering this to your clients, you must fill out a broker contract and then you will be sent a log-in and link by FNA. GHI Dental Update

We have great news. GHI now has 10 small group dental plans to better your needs. Plans include a low cost Dental Access Program with insured preventive and discount access to basic and major. As you have probably noticed, GHI now has 10 small group dental plans to better meet your needs. Plans include a low cost Dental Access Program with insured preventive and discount access to basic and major, 2 Preferred plans with our 100/100/100 paid in full concept and 7 Preferred Plus plans with the larger network and 100/80/50 coverage.
The Preferred Plus plans have choices of annual maximum, either fee schedule or HIAA 80th for out-of-network and either standard package or value package (endodontics; periodontics; oral surgery and anesthesia shifted from basic at 80% to major at 50% coverage) available. Orthodontia is available to groups of 25+.
GHI has increased annual maximums available now: $1000 and $1500 for Preferred and $1000, $1500 and $2500 available for Preferred Plus.
Orthodontia maximums have been increased as well and are now 100% to $2000 for Preferred and $2500 for Preferred Plus.
GHI has also made its Benefit Waiting Period for groups with no prior dental coverage more competitive. It is now only required for groups of 2 - 9 with a 6 months wait on major and ortho and was previously required for groups of 2 - 24 with a 12 month wait on major, perio and ortho.

Dental Rates and Changes

Below
are the Small Business Program Rates for small groups effective January 1,
2008 through December 1, 2008.
In addition to the new rates, Delta has also made a change to the dual choice option within our Small Business Program. Dual choice is now available to groups selecting voluntary plans meeting the enrollment guidelines.
You may offer DeltaCare USA in a dual-choice environment to groups with 10 or more employees. For both contributory and voluntary plans, dual choice gives employees the option to choose between DeltaCare USA and the Delta Dental Premier, Delta Dental PPO or Delta Dental PPO Voluntary programs. At least 5 primary enrollees must enroll in the DeltaCare USA program and at least 5 primary enrollees must enroll in the Delta Dental Premier, Delta Dental PPO or Delta Dental PPO Voluntary program, subject to the Delta Dental Premier, Delta Dental PPO and Delta Dental PPO Voluntary enrollment guidelines.
